well, a little, I know he betrayed and killed his powerful brother Horus(if I recall correctly?) but he woke up from death again so he never was able to fulfill his evil plan:D and god of the dead, right?
egyptian mythology is quite interesting and unique... unfortunately I was never taught about it or learned much about it.
do you specifically like it?

Basicly, yes. Or so the (most) popular story goes. Though, there's much more that than this.. Seth is really powerful, yet very (sometimes even deliberately) misunderstood Archetype/God in the Egyptian pantheon.

Check out this book for the best possible academic information:

In my past I was fascinated with Seth which I recognize as an Egyptian manifestation of a universal archetype. Check this link to get better understanding of this archetype which for ex. was known in Germanic pantheon as Loki:

Thanks. We staged a makeshift-studio with my friend years back and did this photoshoot. The statue is only some 20 cm long.

Seth....if I had too choose I'd rather worship anubis instead : D

The sparks and the lightning looks marvelous, I don't find anything that takes from the picture...

Ha! Why would you worship Anubis instead? Are you familiar with historical/ancient worship of Seth?

Thanks for the comment. What do you mean with "I don't find anything that takes from the picture..."?

Sorry for that, it's the hungarian - English translation I did in my head : D

So, I don't find anything negative that lessens the value of your picture.

I confess that I don't know much about Seth, but I know I like the old Jackal head : )
